Certified Massage Therapist, 1999
B.S., California State University, Chico, 1992
Beth’s bodywork began in Japan in 1992. There she studied shiatsu, acupressure and reflexology under Dr. Yumiko Fujimoto, a clinician. That foundation still shapes how she works: pressure, patience, and attention to the whole person, not just the sore spot.
Back in the U.S. she went through massage school and certified as a massage therapist, adding the modalities required to practice here: deep tissue, sports and integrative massage, and advanced soft tissue techniques for very specific problems. She also has a background in nutrition.
Runners, cyclists, triathletes and weekend players come to her, many of them sent by their physical therapist. She also sees plenty of people who simply carry too much: desk necks, stiff backs, and stress that has settled into the body.
She has worked in the Los Gatos area for almost 20 years, and some clients have been with her for more than 15. The reason is simple: every session is built around the person on the table that day.

“She is a great listener and always tailors the session to how I am feeling that day.”
Finding a massage therapist you can truly trust is rare, which is why I have been seeing Beth for about 3 years now. I can honestly say she is the best! She has a deep understanding of my body's needs and always manages to help me relieve my tension or aches and pains. Beth creates a calm, professional, and safe environment. She is a great listener and always tailors the session to how I am feeling that day. I would not hesitate and have recommended her to others.
“Beth follows the pain points in your body and finds the sources.”
Beth follows the pain points in your body and finds the sources. It's such a rare sense of expertise. I never want to let her go! She has helped me regain mobility of my shoulder to an extent that I can swim again. Definitely worth it!
“...she knows instinctively if you feel like chatting or just drifting off.”
Beth gives a thorough and healing massage. She's great at asking about and focusing on your trouble spots. The ambiance is soothing, and she knows instinctively if you feel like chatting or just drifting off. Good quality at a reasonable price - and she is a lovely human being, as well.
