About
A bodywork practice, not a massage menu
Integrative Massage & Wellness is a small Los Gatos practice founded by Beth Panero. It exists because most massages are built around a routine, and most bodies don’t fit one.

The person you’ll meet
Meet Beth Panero
Beth has spent 34 years learning how bodies hold tension. She started in Japan, long before she studied Western massage.
She has worked in the Los Gatos area for almost 20 years. Some of her clients have been with her for more than 15 years, and whole families come in once one person does.

Why Beth works this way
Japan taught her patience.
Beth learned shiatsu, acupressure and reflexology in Japan with Dr. Yumiko Fujimoto before she ever studied Western massage. The lesson that stuck: pressure, patience, and attention to the whole person, not just the sore spot.
Other practitioners trust her with their clients.
Physical therapists, chiropractors and psychologists send clients to her. Runners, cyclists, triathletes and weekend players come too, many of them sent by their physical therapist.
Decades on the table taught her that routines don’t fit bodies.
After massage school in the U.S. she kept adding tools: advanced soft tissue, deep tissue and sports massage. More tools made one thing clearer. Every session has to be built around the person on the table that day.
When you get on the table, she pays attention to
- Where it hurts, how long it has been going on, and what makes it better or worse
- How the area actually moves and feels before she decides how to work
- A pressure you agree on, checked at the start and during the session
- Whether you want to talk or simply drift off

“She is a great listener and always tailors the session to how I am feeling that day.”
What the practice believes
- Attention over routine
- The most useful thing a therapist brings is attention. Technique is how that attention gets used.
- Expertise you don’t have to manage
- You shouldn’t need to know what “myofascial” means to get good care.
- Honest about what massage is
- Massage can do a lot for how your body feels. It isn’t a substitute for medical care, and we’ll say so.
- A private, safe space
- Some people talk, some drift off, some let go of more than tension. What happens in the room stays there.
The practice is now a small team who share Beth’s way of working. Meet the team · How our approach works
