Colleen followed in her mom Beth’s footsteps in the field of bodywork and mental wellbeing because of the impact that massage made on her life. Her modalities include an integrative approach of deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, myofascial, Thai, prenatal and sports massage. She blends her training in massage with her intuition to support her clients’ goals in sessions.
Colleen understands the complexity and interconnectedness of the body: the anxiety and trauma that we tend to hold in our bodies from the impact of stressful events. Colleen is no stranger to injuries from her hobbies in rock climbing, snowboarding, surfing and competitive dance as a child. She emphasizes the importance of creating a space where clients feel safe to communicate, give feedback and experience deep relaxation in sessions.
She completed her massage training at Denver Integrative Massage School. She also completed several courses in Marriage and Family Therapy, and received her BA in Sociology at UC Santa Barbara. She is passionate about supporting people from all walks of life to receive bodywork and experience the extensive benefits of safe and caring touch. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, photography, pottery and camping in nature with her pup.
